That thing he is holding is not a biss screw. The thing in my pics is a biss screw. Second pic is on an envelope for size reference. The thing he is holding is located just below the tps inside of the throttle body and I've never heard of anyone taking that part of the throttle body off. I'm not even sure its supposed to come off. You probably need to buy a used throttle body off of here or eBay. I don't think that broken part is available by itself.

Are you positive it was leaking from that part that you removed and not from the tps side throttle body shaft seal? Maybe the air was shooting downwards toward that circular piece that you pulled out? The reason I ask is I thought that little circle piece with the screw in it was a way to bleed air out of the coolant passages at the factory when the vehicle is being assembled. I'm not sure if air passes through that point but I could be wrong. :-/

That's an evo 8 tb and they have the flapper for the iac, I'm not 100% on the purpose but I was just looking at milspec's tb and I remember them saying that you must make sure that you have the right year tb sent to them because the evo 8 has that flapper and the evo 9 doesn't. You might try contacting them and see if they can get you a replacement or just throwing a used tb on there.

I just read my previous post. I meant to say that it's an evo 8 TB, but the 9's revised it and don't use that.
It's heat activated bleeder flap. Pic and info via Aby at MIL.SPEC's post.
I have a Mil.Spec 65mm Evo IX in stock fresh from them. PM me if interested.
