supertech VALVE SEAT question
Im having a supertech valve kit installed at the same time as head bolts and kelford 272.
So the machanic calls to tell me the the kit came with the wrong valve seats......
He says that I have a 1st Gen castings, which requires a different valve seats.
I have an 06 EVO9.
I went onto a site and this is what I found.....Same 1st Gen castings may need to use a different seat locator SEAT-M1006D due to a taller valve guide boss.
Here is the link to the site,(both he and I...and I hope you are now looking at). http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/sup...itsubishi.html
Is this true? do I have the wrong seats.....? he said when he put the seats in place there was enough room to fit his finger nail and that he is worried that if he install then the valves may collapse??? any thought out there....I want to do it right the first time....
thanks for any comments.
