Intake Manifold Bracket

Hi i am currently removing my intake manifold and im working on the bracket that connects to the manifold underneath of it. Now as i am removing this bracket i am coming to realize i might just not be able to get these bolts back in there when i reinstall it lol.My question is do i have to screw the two bolts into the manifold that go through that bracket on the bottom??. Is anyone else running without them screwed in?? Thanks, Kevin

I just swapped my stock manifold for a map ported one last month and I recommend leaving it off. Also, if your replacing your gasket with a phenolic spacer gasket you will need longer bolts to make some of the brackets fit because the spacer is thicker than the oem gasket.

Those bolts are like the hard plastic covers on scissors. Throw them away, makes it easier to work on intake mani in the future.
