Knotchy / grind shifting questions - maybe clutch adjustment?

So, today I have someone come and test drive my car to possibly buy it, and it's grinding for him when he puts it into reverse, 2nd, 3rd. He is a friend of mine, so it's not a huge deal, but it was embarrassing. I get in and drive it, and it's fine, no grinds. Later he's driving it again, and it isn't grinding, then it does it again, it was intermittent.

I have a 5 spd trans with a Exedy dual disk clutch. Car has 54k miles on it, the clutch has ~ 1k on it.

Is it possible that this could be from the clutch not fully engaging, or is this almost certainly my synchros going? I find it weird that it does it at low rpm (as low as 1k at idle), and slow shifting. Normally when synchros go bad, it's like 4500 rpm or higher, fast shifts, and only in certain gears, not 3 or more.

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks guys!

-Mark

Could be driver.. But clutch adjustment is possible too. I just went through bad 1st and 2nd gear syncros and its very obvious when they go. I'd doubt it would be syncros if you can get it into gear fine at idle and such.

Something else that I've noticed with my twin HD is drivers seat position, if somebody else jumps in the car and moves my seat even a click it messes with my clutch leg and I grind if I don't pay attention. The twins have such a small margin of error, everything has to be perfect. Haha! Hope you get it figured out man.
