Question?

Hi and happy 2004!

I have a question: I put a catalityc converter to my evo 8 and the service engine soon checks out. The code is for oxygen sensor. How can I take out the signal without taking out the catalityc converter?

What should I do?

Eddie

I only took out the catalytic. The sensor goes before the catalytic. But the catalytic converter comes with a hole to put the sensor there. I tried the 2 ways and stills checks the light.

That's what I have, a cat delete pipe. The last sensor goes before the cat delete pipe. If I leave it like that the service engine soon light appears. The other way is to move the sensor to the new pipe that comes with a hole and also appears the light. What can I do to stay with the cat delete pipe with out the warning light??

I just buy it from the internet. The guys at mitsubishi said the the only way the light is going to stay off is by putting again the catalytic. So if there is something that I can do to the O2 ?

I really feel the car better with the cat delete pipe.

after the cat there is one and before there is the other one. Well, when I install the cat delete I left the sensor where it was. I don't mean the first one, I mean the one that reads before the cat. When I run the car for at least a day the light of service engine soon appears, I erase it taking the negative battery out and change the second o2 to the new cat delete that comes with a hole and again the light appears. Maybe the computer reads that there is a lot of bad mixture of gas and air and hit the light of service engine soon. So my question is what can I do to stay with my cat delete pipe>?
