Probable missing part on shifter.

Probable missing part on shifter.

So today I was installing a set of TorqeSolutions underhood shifter bushings when I noticed a open hole (see pic below) on the shifting linkage on top of the tranny. It looks like it needs a rubber plug or something, but I don't know.

Any advice or ideas?

Looks like you're missing the rubber vent thing, I'm sure you can snag one pretty cheap from the dealership, a crashed Evo, or maybe even one of the big Evo tranny shops.

ok thankx, I figure it was missing some kind of plug. I guess I'll go to the local stealership cause the local junkyard don't have any evo's.
