A 6262 is a pretty nice choice for that motor. It all comes down on what type of driving you're planning to use the car for. Road Racing, Drag Racing, etc. Is this a daily driver?

6262 would be fine, I am doing a 3794 on mine. Keep in mind you will spool a little faster and if your on e85 even faster than that!

Are you still on the stock cams and is the head unported? I would suggest that you consider upgrading to a larger than your present 3 inch intercooler if you are going to do a 6262.

..the smallest turbo that will get you to your power goal. Also, be realistic on what type of driving the car will mainly see. For example, if you track your car twice a year it wouldn't make sense to be driving on R-comps all the time. Similarly, if you track/drag your car here & then only, but mainly DD your Evo it would be smarter to have a more street-friendly turbo setup.

With a stock manifold I'd stick with a stock framed turbo. You'll be buying a bunch more parts to go 6262.

Your injectors are pretty darn small for talking big turbo and with a single walbro you won't have much headroom on fuel.

I know somebody making about 780whp on a 3586, so apparently it can flow pretty well top end as well. I will be upgrading to this turbo when my engine is built.

If the poster wants to run that turbo and he plans on using E85 those 1000cc injectors will need to become 1450cc injectors and that single walbro will need to gain a sibling in the tank. Hell, even I need 2 in tank pumps and I only make around 500-530whp. Given I am only running 1150cc injectors though.
