i only say exedy 3200 because i've ran it for 2 years now @500+whp and over 480wtq and it's still running strong, never had a problem and i beat the sh*t out of my car on my daily drive to work.

never ran an exedy or even pushed in a clutch with an exedy behind it, but it sounds like they're great clutches. i guess it really comes down to how much you want to spend and maybe a little brand loyalty. good luck with your decision!

that is very impressive! 40k+ miles. i can definitely see it though, i just bought a new triple HD and i was comparing the clutch disc material to the old one and theres not much wear on the twin with 10k on it.. atleast 50% or more pad life left.

just remember to use about 4 wave rings in the wedge collar assembly on the pressure plate so it doesnt prematurely pop off on you on a hulk shift.

if you're not going to ever get near the tq levels that the twin plate is made for then id definitely encourage the person to stay with a single disc that is proven. theres plenty out there.

this is interesting, would like to know some more on this. Anyone else knows anything about this clutch, or where it can be purchased?

Curt doesn't recommend the blade anymore until he does further testing with carbonetics on it. although for 320wtq goal.. i think he would say its good to go. just not 450wtq+

A friend of mine was going to give me his Act HD pp all i had to do was get was a street disc
which i found for $160 at a local shop but i think XT would be best. So i asked the shop how much for the Act XT kit they said $585 total not bad.

^^so u know the hdss clutch kit as long as the pressure plate is good, has a better chance of no lockouts compared to the XT... my 0.02 ive only been locked out only once and that was on the drag strip goin into 3rd gear. 30K + and countin on mine. so good luck and hope u make the right choice.

yup do a search, there are people that have reports of some lockout issues with the hdss but not nearly as much as the XTSS, and if your replacing your clutch, do the SS lines, bar none has helped with making mine last.
