Help choosing clutch for 03 evo 8
my customer with a fp green hta that recently had clutch slipping issues contacted him directly and he said not to get that clutch if you're planning on making 450wtq+.

Finally decided to go with the ACT XTSS (good to 565 ft. lbs of torque at the flywheel). Curt Brown sent me a PM and said that he couldn't recommend the Carbonetics Blade clutch until they found a way to get it to hold a bit more torque. He, along with some other people running 400+ AWT, recommended the ACT. I bought the STM fork stopper also.
they pop out occasionally - cheap insurance. Yea Curt seem to have changed his opinion on the Carbonetics at least for now, he wouldn't recommend it even for for 400 AWT.

that clutch should be fine, just make sure he adjusts the master cylinder right so it doesn’t lock you out of gear.
curts making like 580wtq+ .. I think the caronetics in your case would of held the torque since im limiting you to around 400tq for safety of rods.
not sure if you needed the stm fork stop or not with a ACT, I don’t think the ACT's pop out but maybe they do.
