I wouldnt reuse that crank after torching it like that.

Was about to say the same. I believe itlost many of it's characteristics. Its not as hard anymore which could be an issue.

So now the crank and damper are toast. Drilling the head off the bolt would have saved both and cost $25 for a new bolt.

Well, I got a 4G64 crank I'm putting in for my 2.3L build so I'm not too worried about it. I was planning on selling stock crank for some cash but I think it'll look better as a display.

Thats good to hear. I'd replace the damper too.
