Best bang for your buck is the grimspeed electronic boost controller. Roughly a hundred bucks brand new, I see a few from time to time on the for sale forums.

It's a little on the pricy side but turbosmart e-boost 2 will allow up to 60 psi. Plenty of features including gear specific control.

The hks evc is a nice unit as well. Whatever u get I highly recommend staying away from the greddy profec b spec II they are a pain to set up and from past experience don't hold boost up top very well

A GM 3port is cheaper and a better bang for your buck. $60 for 3port and plug n play harness, brand new.

And according the mrfred's testing, it has the best response.

^This x10000. Used them on most my vehicles in the past and its worked great.

I've tried TurboSmart stuff but the ones I've used always bled out to much or just weren't holding the boost I needed. Everyone has different experiences all the BC's mentioned are cheap so take a chance and figure out what works best for your application

Check out the AEM Tru-Boost. I had one and like it a lot. I'm trying the EVC 6 right now and its OK, although I don't use a lot of its features and I liked the ease of use of the Tru-Boost more so my vote goes to the AEM
