Manley 156mm or 162mm TT Rods???

Looking into building a 4G64 2.2L Long Rod or Really Long Rod. Personally, I don't know much about the 162mm rods. Looking to build a 700WHP beast. Mainly going to be used for Street/Strip. Why would I go with one length over the other? I know that 156's rev better/higher then 150's, so are the 162's suppose to rev higher then 156's??? Better WTQ??? Please educate me on why one is better then the other?

Increasing rod length on the same stroke simply changes your rod to stroke ratio. A better RS makes revving higher safer. But there are still other limiting factors.

I wouldn't see much point from going to a 162mm rod, the 2.2 already has a very favorable RS ratio.

Anyway, you need a car for a motor first.
