Hey guys replaced my input shaft bearing around 1k go and it has went out again!!!!! It's a 6 speed mr tranny 72k miles. 350 whp car closer to 400 on e 85. First time we changed it there wasn't any noticable wear on any. Act hd clutch. It was hit in the front end but no tie rod damage or anything just a broke wheel like a pot hole and dented fender radiator etc etc but no damage really close to tranny. What on earth do you guys think could cause it to go out again so soon?

 

I called shep and they said the 6 speed being weaker shouldn't effect it at that power level at all

 

Another question. Does that bearing need grease or does the tranny fluid lubricate it?
