in on this as well. anyone have the specs on the throw of various short shifters? i have a B&M in my honda and absolutely love it. im not sure how much percentage wise it reduced the throw, but now from first to second and third to fourth is maybe an inch or so and it greatly improved the stretch to fifth and brought it way in. something similiar in the evo would really be nice.

The WORKS shifter is not that extreme. The throw is maybe 70% of what it was before, I would estimate.

WORKS! Either the 5, or 6speed. I have the 6speed short throw and just love it! Guys in my club have the 5 speed and feel the same way.

console bushings = base bushings and cable bushings = shifter/shift linkage bushings

Does WORKS still require the 6-speed short throw to be installed at one of their facilities?

Got lazy and didn't send back the M/T shifter. Just replaced the shift pattern label for a Mits label. Will work for now till I figure out a good replacement

Bump, mlee25 how are you liking the WORKS short shift? I'm thinking of getting one for my car. Or buschur or TWM. Haven't quite looked into just looking around for how they feel compared to stock.
