compression test results

Ok so i did a compression test and my results are as follows in this cylinder order 1-2-3-4 but i didnt pull the cam sensor i pulled that big block for ecu in the engine bay fuse box
first=80-200-200-200
second=100-193-198-200
with oil in number 1 it went up to 125 do u think my gauge is bad?Its a craftsman and the car dosent act up or die or anything and it still puls hard?

make sure the spark plug threads are clean so it gets a tight fit. If those are fine, looks like you might have a burned valve or something.

undoubtedly have problems in the cylinder 1 and have to open your motor

Cylinder 1 is certainly worth investigating, no question. I'd start with the obvious things like checking to make sure those threads are clean and if you did them in a certain order the first time, do them in the opposite order the second time and see how the results change. That would eliminate most unrelated variables.

The important thing is... don't panic.

Looks like your gauge reads a little high. However, your gauge is still fairly consistent. Definitely need to do a little investigating with the first cylinder.

Well step one

1. Cyl #1 is low (maybe piston compression rings)

2. Do a leakdown test, this will definately tell you whats going on. Could be intake valve, exhaust valve, rings, headgasket.

Would have to be a hell of a headgasket leak
Since after adding oil and it jumped 25, sounds like rings.

Lol. You get a 60% lower reading in cylinder number 1 and think that you could have a bad gauge.

Why were you doing a compression test in the first place?

I know 1d10t I just listed potential causes. Gotta pinpoint the exact problem cause if you do rings you have to re-bore the cylinder for the new rings. An might as well do all of them, forged pistons maybe??

Gbaily, it only makes sense that the temp goes up and further expand the seal between the rings and cyl wall therefore better reading. By the way the engine has to be at proper operating temp and the battery on a charger.

How many times per cyl did you crank the motor for? Or did you just keep going till the gauge stopped ? #1 sounds like a problem for sure. A leak down test is the only way to know though.

Wow. No. Unless you did the first 3 within 5 minutes, and waited 2 days for the 4th
Either way, warm or not, 115 is low

When testing one cyl measure two "puffs" the first puff should be 50% of the second puff. Either way it's still low. What have you done next? Do the leakdown test, and hear where you losing pressure from.
