Fp4r or s2 cam?

Originally I had intended to keep the longblock stock, but now I have my goal set on fastest stock motor stock turbo record. I have all the mods to support n then some. I just can't make up my mind. Drivability not a concern, mostly a drag car and occasional cruise. Car is a 06 IX RS. So fp4r or S2 cams? Running E85. thanx

Nobody? Just looking for a little input. Open to suggestions if you think there is a better cam choice.

yea either will work, i had hks 272 cams in mine before, swapped for s2s, have no experience with fp4rs... but there prolly similar to s2s...although with my s2s more up top power, with reall no sacrifice in spool up rpms... still spools the same as the hks cams....look into springs/retainers for piece of mine and 8k revability.

hey, no experience with the fp cams, so sorry but your SOL there.

i have minor minor bolts on on my 8, stock turbo. i have the s2 with springs retainers seats. the increase in power and mid range tq was incredible. the turbo runs out up top WAY before the cams do. i rev it to 8k all day everyday and they keep pulling even after i shift.

nice lope at idle, great driveability. loss in vaccuum, need to be careful when stopping mid turn, but no big deal. all in all i absolutely love these cams, my favorite mod thus far. really opens top end.

spools a little later than stock, but ther 274s so thats to be expected. s2s get my vote (with valvetrain). but again, no fp exp and im just some rando scmuck on the interwebz.
