Headstuds. MAP H11 vs ARP L19

I have to decide which to get for my 2.3l stroker w/ HX40

I have been searching through this forum and have a hard time figuring which set to get.

It is between THESE MAP H11 headstuds and THESE ARP L19

They are almost the same price, will the "dog point" make that big of a difference on the MAP ones?

I would get the standard L19's made by ARP. ARP has always been the most popular choice from their regular headstuds to the L19s.

Question remains, which is better and not more popular.... and does the dog point make that big of a difference?

It assures an accurate and repeatable torque sequence on every stud, there is no downside.

How exactly do you manage to keep them oiled and what other maintenance do they require?

Basically don't open them until you are ready to instal them. Use the supplied ARP lube they include when installing them and put the head on. Torque to spec and you are done.
