Actually, for those who do not know, the two work pretty close together on many things...

I was able to add a few more diffs into the total being built for some stragglers. As of today, 1/6/05 there are 5 unsold.

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/evoquaifegb.htm

The cheap price is over with, but because of latent demand (EVO people are slackers too basically) I was able to add an additional 10 differentials to the deal. This leaves 5 unsold as of today. You can buy one before or after you bust up your stocker. Cheaper to buy it before. $1345 plus about $300ish to install it. $450 deposit now gets you a diff in late Feb or early March.

Any updates on availability? I only ask because I'm getting work done on the clutch next week, but I might hold off for a couple weeks if I can get the LSD put in at the same time.

Thanks, I can read and I'm aware of what Mike wrote. The RRE page reads, "Availability as soon as mid February, 2005". I'm guessing the LSDs won't all come in a single shipment, and if so, will they be distributed to people in the order they signed up on the list, or in the order they paid their deposit? One might interpret what Mike said as implying, "If you paid your deposit earlier you'll get it earlier [than late Feb or early March]."

+1

me too

count me in

put my name down

bump!!

what he said

Those don't count toward securing yourself an Quaife LSD. Only those who paid the deposit will secure themself a unit when they arrive late February to mid March.

Sorry if that was too hard to comprehend.

My understanding is that Quaife will Batch these parts in one run. So they should all land at the same time.

Robi,
I am assuming that you are still running the Quaife? How is it holding up? How many miles do you have on it -- both track and street.
What are your thoughts on it now?

Thanks for the feedback!

You should ask all the Porsches/BMWs at a private track day put on by Speed Gallery at the "big" track at willow springs ran 1:28's all day. The most fun was when the lambo pointed me by... I was making the most time in turn 2/eight and between 3&4 these locations put a premium on grip as you get back into the throttle...just what DR Quaife ordered.. 4K street miles 9 full track days not a whimper and unnoticable in daily driving.
