Hey guys i was wondering if someone can give me some help here. I tried searchin this up but got nothin.

Since i got the car about 3 months ago i notice there is a small rpm hang. Usually stay at 3k rpm n very slowly die down even at a complete stop. The rpm hangs when i pull it out to neutral. Now if i was to bring the car to 5k rpm n bring it to neutral, the rpm will stay on 5k while its rollin fast on neutral. I would have to engage it inorder to get the rpm to drop. Today when i tried to engage it to bring down the rpm, it wouldnt even drop. What can it be? Pressure plate? Throttle body? Help, this is puttin me on tilt

check your throtle cable make sure its free and clear of other parts

 

Tuning can also produce a throttle hang.

 

^^True, I started tuning my car yesterday and I can't get my throttle to sit at 12.15% anymore. I get it adjusted to there and it doesn't stay tight and it's pissing me off. lol Now I have to periodically lift the pedal to make the rpms drop, like the cable just isn't releasing completely. So, I'd check that OP.

 

I think its the tune. My rpm drops really slow... Cable seems fine.
