High Idle?

Ok, so I boosted a lancer ES, and flashed it with the Evo X maps (standard from what I've read). Everything is great, car runs awesome (except the CEL for the cam thing, again normal and no CEL disable yet from what I've read).

Now here's the problem. Occasionally when you get on it hard then go to neutral, or rev in neutral, the RPM's/TPS goes into some kind of **** mode, where it just want's to rev. It's kind of like the normal Evo X "Rev Hang" but much worse! With the rev hang, if you tap the clutch it goes away, this one doesn't fully. If you clutch out it just rev's to redline and stays there, if you push the clutch in, it goes down to ~2K, bounces around on what sounds like a 2step for a second, then starts to climb back up to about 5K. If at any point you let out the clutch the revs start to go crazy high again, but when you push it in it immediately drops it to ~2k again, and starts all over.

It's not a vacuum leak, checked that. And it doesn't do it all the time. AND when it's doing it, if you drive the car, and it starts to move, it completely goes away, till you rev it again and **** it off, then it starts the cycle over again.

I've logged ACC E and D. One shows 19, the other shows 9. The both stay consistent, but the TPS bounces from 4-21 when it's doing this craziness, but when it's acting normal, the ACC's show the same but the TPS shows only 3, and it idles completely normal...

Any ideas?

Thanx in advance,
CK

I'd like to know as well. As I have experienced that same exact thing. Except for me it will hang at high rev and if you tap gas it only climbs and stays as high as you let it by pressing the gas pedal and only clutch trick disengages it.

With the idle "hang" the clutch trick seems to disengage it. But when it goes into this stupid mode, only actually moving the car or shutting it off seems to work. Other than that it stays in the high idle, and no amount of playing with the throttle or clutch makes it shut off.
