3 inch test pipe with 02 bung
im in need of a new test pipe, does anyone know of any TRUE 3 inch test pipes with an 02 bung. my old one was an ultimate racing and either they sent me the wrong one years back or they just didnt make a true 3 inch test pipe. so any ideas as well as where to purchase from would be great thanks my fellow Evo brothers !!!

the megan test pipe has terrible bung placement, just FYI. it's at a very bad angle. I'd try to get one with a bung horizontal to the bolt holes and not off at some odd random angle

so i question as to who actually makes a TRUE 3 inch test pipe thats worth the money.
I'm no rookie son, as you can see my post count is about similar to yours. im just curious as to what everyone with their 8s and 9s are running nowadays, considering i havent been modding my evo in the last couple of years.....
I just sold my UR one (running STM at the moment) but I've ran the UR one since 2002 and it has always matched up to my 3" systems well on my 8/9. That being said, I have not taken my calipers to it to see if the ID was indeed true 3.0", it may be 2.9999, I don't know the exact specs so AWD may be "correct". I just know UR labels them as 2.5" and 3". If it were me, and I'm super OCD, I wouldn't let the extra thousandth or whatever bother me, it's not going to be a huge bottleneck unless your trying to break some records.
MAP also makes a test pipe, you might want to check theirs out too. You can always have someone put a bung in any SS test pipe and use your own o2 extender. Another option would be MAP o2 eliminator downpipe with test pipe attached.

after checking it out, it seems to be of good quality. it also offers one with an 02 bung and they claim it to be a 3 inch test pipe. Boostedwrx how long have you been running this test pipe? any problems??
It's possible your Greddy Ti catback is 80mm (~3.15") I know my Trust Ti catback is 80mm and the piping was indeed larger than the UR testpipe.
The STM unit is a nice piece, the flanges are SS and chunky. Not as chunky as the flanges Buschur uses but still very heavy duty. You'll have to use an 02 extender though as there is no provisioned mechanical o2 fix (just a bung welded in). Good luck dude!
