That's so weird. Take the plugs out, spray a little starter fluid on em and try to fire it up. I did my cams and just lubed the lifters (brand new). Didn't even tick when I started it. The CAS is a big deal and a lot of issues can be had there but if you are positive it was assembled correctly then I am stumped. Compression test will eliminate the bent valve theory, even with different cams on EMS it should still start.

I think you should disassemble the CAS and ensure its installed properly etc. Its got to be the issue. Also, am I the only one who sees the Bob Saget references

this might sound stupid, but did you spin the crankshaft clock wise when aligning the timing. I always do a cycle by hand before I start the car to make sure is spins correctly as advise by the manual. And make sure there is enough crank juice in your battery. Like you said everything else is accounted for, good luck.

All I can say is that the small vane of the Cam sensor pick up should be facing the sensor when everything is set up at top dead center.

Also, the bleeding of the lifters will not inhibit start up, just be a little noisy untill they pump back up.

Good Luck

That's for the help guys. I'm going to take the CAS apart tomorrow. I'm also going to double check it's ground. My tuner is local, so he offered to swing by with his laptop and check out the situation as well. I really hope I can get this sorted out. Bob Saget.

Hey all, a little update. I looked at a different install procedure found here: http://www.evomoto.com/tech_info.php?tech_id=18

It was a lot more helpful than the video I posted. I apparently looked at it wrong and did indeed install the trigger in 180* off as the first person noted. Because I thought the way that I had it originally was correct, I did not see it as an error (obviously).

When I fixed that the car started right up, but won't run worth a crap, so I'm nearly positive it's tune related. Thanks for all of the help.

Haha I thought this thread was way dead. After I solved this I had a slew of other things, however, I finally got it running.
