BBK-B, FP Black, EF3 for 2.3L pump only
So I just got everything completed on my 2.3L build running the BBK full ported and it's spooling crazy now and heats the turbo up very quickly, so I may be in the market for a bigger turbo but want to maintain a quickish spool. I don't care about having XXX whp, just one of those that would perform great on the street and occasional track (3 times per year at most). My tune isn't complete yet, but looks like it isn't liking 27+ psi anymore. I was currently running meth which I opted not to put back on anymore and no E-85 close by. I've checked out graphs and really looking into turning my BBK full into a BBK-B as of right now since mine has been outstanding with me. Any suggestions on which one I should chose? Most dyno sheets around here are with E-85 or meth. Thanks.
When you say "track" do you mean the drag strip, or closed circuit?

Don't quote me on this but I don't think journal bearing BBK-Bs are still available. Pretty soon the options through CBRD will be a JB BBK-Lite & BBK Full or a BB BBK-B. OP, definitely talk to Chad about a BB BBK-B, should be a really fun turbo & reliable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I left a message at CBRD. I love the BBK full but think with the 2.3 I need a little more "umph". Track will be 1/4 mile only.
BBK-B's are now a ball bearing only turbo- when released shortly! with various compressor cover sizes and custom CBRD inlet pipes
I did get your message-

, that's what I run and that 's what gets my vote, 2,3bar @ 3900 and 9K red line on a 2.0L setup.
