I'd stop saying NOS is I were you, the correct name is N2o. NOS is the name of a company.

truely fast cars dun need anything...(example:diablo)
fast cars juz need turbo...(example:evo)
slow cars tht wanna be fast n truely fast add N2O...(example:any ricer's car)

juz my interpretation....i honestly think engine mods would be more worth the $....remember.nitrous will run dry....engine mods dun...

First off, NOS is to Nitrous, as Coke is to Cola, etc... its just what people seem to use so it catches on.

Now, I dunno but, I don't think of TC'ed cars actually using Nitrous. When I think of Nitrous, I think of Hondas trying to compete with others (on the street). Also, doesn't nitrous ruin your engine after repetitive use?

So? That doesn't make them right. If you're technical and enthusiast enough to put force induction on your car, you should at least get the name right.

I agree with BurnOutz on this one. NOS to me is just an easy acronym for N itrous O xide S ystem.

Besides, 99.99% of people understand that NOS doesn't nesseserely mean any certain company it just means N2O.

My 2 cents

Move on from what. I was never stuck on it. 1 post and a moderator tells me to move on. I feel like cattle. Hehe

Sorry bout that Claudius. just venting form some anger that should go toward KK and Hooby. In all honesty your one of the most resonable straight foward moderators.

By the way have you had any kind of reliability problems with the AYC or any of the stock parts due to running more boost?
Have you ever seen an evo with NOS?

i run 100 shot on my stock motor with exhaust for a while. no problems here! if i had it to do over again i think i would just put a 250 shot on it and save my money for all this big turbo i got. LOL

from being an old nitrous user, I wouldnt bother with it.
Its great when it works, but a pain in the *** to monitor bottle pressure and that stuff. Just not worth the headache IMO unless you did the other stuff first and looking for that extra bit, but with a turbo car, that would be the last thing on my list

And your not dealing with an NA car here with your HP figures on exhaust work. Few boltons and a tune and you will reach the Nitrous numbers easily and have the power all the time with little to no headaches.

A 7 year old thread about NOS in an out-of-warranty Evo 6.

This is relevant to my interests.
