Has anybody seen this before, my motor was making approx 380whp on water/meth and recently had an issue which I thought was a bigend bearing, when I pulled the motor down the bearings were fine, my machinist pulled the pistons off the rods and found this:



the pistons are MANLEY SPORT COMP series and approx 2 years old, motor was only revved to 8200 max

the pins supplied are 4mm thick

 

no one got any ideas............................................. ...................

the pins were 3mm too not 4mm
