So after about 3 weeks of research and reading I had determined to get the GSC S2 cams. I figured I may as well put in cams while I'm doing the timing belt and water pump Though I have a stock turbo now, I plan on an upgrade in a couple years.

My question is do I need bigger injectors if I run these more aggresive cams? I have searched pretty hard and haven't found any clear answers. I will obviously be doing the spring and retainers, as well as the Walbro 255 HP fuel pump. Do I need bigger injectors now or can I wait until I upgrade the turbo?

Thanks for the input!

You definitely needs springs & retainers, as you stated. You are still running stock turbo, correct? If you are installing a walbro, you might as well do injectors. I would recommend doing at least 1000cc injectors so when you upgrade your turbo you will have room to grow with the injectors & won't need to upgrade again. Ask your tuner too, they may be able to recommend a certain brand of injectors.

I dont feel for a stock turbo that they are needed.

As BJ said though, if you do plan to upgrade the turbo in the near future it definitely will remove any doubt after the cam install. It seems for the most part though that the stock injectors and all the bolts ons max out at the same point on 92 octane, 370-380whp.

I maxed out my stock turbo on stock injectors on pump gas. Id wait until you pick what upgraded turbo your going with to get new injectors because they all can require different fuel needs

i agree with toxicfab because when i was on my stock turbo i did cams springs retainers lifters seals etc and went with 1150's and now that i decided to upgrade the turbo i had more then enough room to play

Considering you're only making 325awhp right now it is almost safe to say you won't need them. I maxed out my injectors with 374awhp without cams but every car is different. Start to tune your car and if it needs them your tuner will tell you.
