evo 9 turbo

Hi
I just bought a use turbo 9 with 56k mile on it. There is oil on the turbo(picture), I took the intake off my car and it's look clean, free of oil but there are oil on the intake tube on my car. Is this normal on the turbo 9 and oil in the intake.

if its a little amount then yeah not serious mine always had a lil bit that rested in the intake closer to the turbo... if its more then like the size of a quarter then (dun dun dunnnnn)

check shaft play. but looks fine to me.

+1 check for shaft play, it "looks" fine, there should be oil residue if the vent from the valve cover to the turbo intake pipe was used. If you don't want your turbo to look like that, place a catch can in between

No shaft play. I worry about that oil.
