I bought this cooler with my new engine just because I wanted to make sure temps would stay low to help protect the engine since I just put so much time and money into it.
I did everything I could to make sure the oiling system would perform. I've been paranoid ever since my original JB FP Black failed. I also added, the new AMS wet sump oil pan, Kiggly HLA, AMSOIL ARO 20W-50 oil and MAP's oil cooler to make sure I never had a problem again (of course this was all before I upgraded to the DBB FP Black). However, now that I upgraded all of that, I don't have to worry about the oiling system at all and can race all day long

The other reason being, the stock cooler had definitely seen better days, it was pretty beat up. I figured since I dropped so much money on everything else, I might as well get a nice oil cooler. (Just having more insurance is the real reason
)With that said, no, I do not have any hard data.

I had an AMS oil cooler kit on mine.
Sold it, and went out and bought a bigger oil cooler now (identical to AMS' but has a few more rows). I'm just waiting on some fittings from Summit and I will get to installing it.
I will try and get some photos of the cooler once I finally get home.
I was considering the STM one but it just wasn't worth the $$$ for the parts that are included with it.
The AMS one is a BIT more pricey but comes with prefabbed brackets, hoses and everything so that you can just bolt it in and go.

Here is a pic of my car racing up 7.5 miles of uphill without an oilcooler. Oil temps were never affected. Now i wouldnt' run any 20 min races without on but i think the idea of better or worse is not really all that important unless you guys are doing some serious racing. (that being said, B&M has been doing this for alot longer then most company's) I think people think if it dosnt' have an exotic name that it isn't good (why do you need an oilcooler that is made in Sweden?). We do still make some good ol stuff right here in the USA!
As easy as it was to make the stock brackets works. I think that the stock location sucks for anyone that might crash once in a while. I will be mounting mine up by the rad, like in that other thread.
