I just got my clutch and flywheel done. Picked it up and drove it. Later that night engine light comes on. I've noticed that I'm getting the burnt clutch smell at idle. Is it not adjusted properly? Not fully disengaging? Thanks guys.

 

were you by chance doing some hard braking? some brakes smell like burnt clutch after some use...

 

I don't know what hard braking would be in an evo but I brake the same in my civic and it doesn't smell at all?

 

hows the clutch master cylinder adjusted?

 

That's where the pedal is right? I'm going to adjust it higher right now and see if that helps.

 

Is there any way to adjust the switch farther back? I adjusted the pedal higher and it seems to be not engaging the switch.
