Deatschwerks Fuel Hardwire kit ??

Hi all,

Anyone use this install kit? If so I have question regarding wire splice.

As per instructions:

7. Splice the black wire from the relay socket to the chassis side of the pump 12v/pos wire.

8. Splice the yellow wire from the relay socket to the pump side of the pump 12v/pos wire.

Which is the chassis side of the pump 12v and pump side of 12v pump?
Are the thicker black/white wires from pump switch only ones spliced.

Easy. Cut the white wire in half. The white wire is the positive line within the pump's harness. Now that the wire is cut in half, find the end that is connected to the car's harness. This line is no longer connected to the fuel pump. Connect that line to the black relay wire on your dw kit. The end that is still connected to the fuel pump connects to the yellow wire. When finished, each end of the white wire should be tapped.

I figured it out the day I posted the thread.
It's the language of the instructions that was a bit confusing.

Pump side = wire coming FROM pump switch.
Chassis side = wire to ECU.

I believe the instructions are universal, not car specific.

My Walbro is a bit louder after the re-wire
