Need Help!!!

I'm installing my BR TB exhaust but the dp doesn't seem to match up to the o2 housing. Any suggestions. I'm in the middle of this now so a quick response would be appreciated. Thanks

The dp doesn't fit up to the rounded part of the o2 housing so that I can bolt it up.

The supplied 1 1/2" bolts aren't long enough to bolt it up.

The ones from the facatory are. The instructions say to use the supplied bolts. I tried the spring bolts anyway and there is a notch on the bolt so it can't fit through the holes.

Stock ones are spring bolts....

Hmmm...

So you say that they are correct length, but wont work? I know that was the hardest part of the install for me, holding that damn DP was a *****, while trying to put the bolt up there and tighten it...

Did you take the donut off the flange on the O2 housing. The stock downpipe is tapered. The BR DP might not be. That could be why it won't fit.

The supplied bolts are not the correct length. They are too short. The dp doesn't slip over the o2 housing enough. It seems like the openning on the flange on the dp is not wide enough.

What do you mean by donut. The tappered part of the o2 housing where it matches up to the dp? If so it doesn't look like it comes off.

use a screw driver and gently push it off, it will come off, mine was kinda stuck on there because of black carbon build up, but then it came right off...........

I'll look for a pic

Wouldn't they have thought of that?
