update:
one lobe was defective and caused the bending of my valve.
The installed a sh*tload of new parts in the engine.
Today they call and say that the computer is checking the engine out fine, but the car is taking to long to start. ie. the guy says it should go crank, crank vroom. But, it is turning over like 20-30 times before it starts.
So, they have now had my f'ing car 2 weeks and still have no real clue what is wrong with it. (exact words from mechanic)
I really can't take it anywhere else as there are only like 4 evos in the whole cleveland area so no tech has experience with them.
I am seriously considering raising a huge stink and getting them to buy it back. This is bs, I am really thinking about getting an STI now.

Don't worry. Lemon laws should allow you to get a new car or refund if the car has been out of service for a certain period of time (I think it's 3 weeks, but I could be wrong). Besides, I think every state is different.
dude dont get rid of it, its like you won the lotery just a bad one, i never heard of a bad lobe on an evo yet. my friends have STis, they are cool, but once you break in yur evo and you drive a broken in STi, sure the STi is a little faster, but which one is more fun?
