2000 miles = engine repair :(
Just hit 2000 miles and the ol check engine light came on. I thought it was my gas cap because I just filled up. Went in to the dealer today and they said it was a bent valve in one of my cylinders.
I haven't even brought this thing about 4.5k rpms yet, was it me?

Maybe, I'm curious if anyone even know what would cause valves to bend.

valvespring failure- only affected valve
or
timing belt failure or skip - many valves affected
either way the actual cause it contact with the piston

Well I doubt it was that, i never even got close to a redline.
I'm thinking it must have been a factory defect.
My BS detector is going off....bent valve would cause continuous misfires. Plus, the computer will tell you if the engine has been overrevved. He needs to do a compression check, but it prolly ain't a bent valve.
