That will be great having a nice complete kit of new parts. That's ok if the setup is old, it's a great setup. You will have fun with it.

Thanks man. Yea I'm waiting to purchase an ETS exhaust mani to go with setup. I already have Invidia O2 housing, and I'm also going to run ETS ICP. I have their IC as well. I can't wait to see the gains and hp range.

Yea I understand. I was thinking on buying FP Green, but i wanted to get something that wasn't going to be too much so i wouldn't have to upgrade alot of stuff like engine internals.

Without knowing your goals its hard to say if it was a good investment or not.

From our testing, We have found about 10-15 whp gains going from an 8 turbo with 9.8 hot side to a 9 turbo. Not sure that its even worth the effort of changing unless you are trying to get every last pony out of a stock turbo.

If you need help with your build feel free to give us or any other knowledgeable shop a call and we will be glad to assist you.

Other than that, I really like those 02 housings. Good choice.

Thank you I'm glad to hear that you guys at STM are willing to help me out with my setup. Well my goals in mind are under 400, but now that I think about it I should have asked people with knowledge. Either way I'll be happy any range that's under 400. I'll be looking for some injectors and fuel pump I'll be visiting your website.

Congrats on getting an evo. Thats a nice setup to start with, just get some cams later and you can get pretty close to 400whp on pump.

You did just fine with that turbo upgrade. Just step up to the plate and go all the way with the switch to E85. You'll need to install a set of higher flowing injectors and a WALBRO fuel pump however.

I got cams i just don't know what kind because i bought it that way. I'm guessing they are HKS because it also has the cam gears, but not sure if it has upgraded retainers and springs. How would i know what kind of cams i have? I know first by taking off the valve cover but how can i tell if springs are upgraded?

Yea I'm going to get 880 injectors and walbro fuel pump once I finish with the turbo setup then I'll go for a tune. The problem I have is that where I live in Texas there is no tuner I can go to and trust. Unfortunately I dont live in a city where shops like ETS, Cobb Tuning, or STM are around. Cobb is like 4hrs I'm guessing from where I stay. So its hard to go to a tuner and tell if he tuned my car just right. I would want to go some place where tuning evos is a everyday thing

You'd have to take the cover off also to check springs. If they are HKS cams then the previous owner probably installed them a while back and chances are the spring and retainers are stock.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. After I reach 90k I'll probably buy newer cams with springs and retainers just to know that I have it. I'm at 60k right now hopefully when I get tuned I don't mess up a spring while in the process. Thanks man
