so my clutch started slipping last week so im going to replace and i was thinking if i should replace the flywheel at the same time or can the stock one last me longer the car only has about 50k miles

 

what kind of clutch are you going for? take a look at the flywheel once is out, maybe just needs to be resurface

stock flywheel should be good, just remember to resurface

 

Resurface or replace, there is no other option

 

A lightened flywheel is gonna take away from the daily driver ability of the car, just depends on what ur looking for.

Just get your flywheel resurfaced when you install the new clutch. I have the same clutch and it works very well with a resurfaced OEM flywheel. As others have pointed out an aftermarket light weight flywheel will take away from the drivability of the car. The shop that did my clutch install had the OEM flywheel resurfaced at a local machine shop for $50.
