what turbo timer is this?

my car came with some strange turbo timer. when your ready to get out of the car, you hold down the brake pedal and lift the ebrake twice. the instrument cluster lights up, then you lift the ebrake twice more and its activated. i have never heard of this and i dont see anything out of the ordinary. what gives?

That is super weird, the good thing is that it seems to be set up with an ebrake kill so no on can steal it when its cooling down.

Flashing gauge cluster is very odd and to me seems like a lot of effort to install for such a ridiculous option.

In my opinion I think that its a lot of nonsense to go through to have a working turbo timer when all I do is set the time on mine and walk away without pushing any buttons or lifting anything up and down and Im sure just about 99.9% of others on here are set up the same...

can you post a picture? or do you not know where the unit is? ive never heard of this or anything close. everyone ive seen pull the ebrake leave it in neutral key off and hop out.

closest thing ive seen to this was an anti theft device when i worked at manheim auction where you had to hold the left blinker down for 5 seconds or the car wouldnt start.
