Timing with The blance shaft gear

so i did some searching found nothing. the shop put the balance shaft eliminator in my car. however i did some research seems like graveyard dsm is saying if the balance shaft is eliminated the sprocket does not have to line up. which the shop did not line mine up but i see some people still do it for personal reasons. just want to double check before i bust thing thing out of the garage for hybernation and starts causing trouble and don't want that vibration in the wheel. is this a true statment? or is there downfalls in the long run.

You won't have a problem, it can't cause vibrations as it's not spinning a shaft with counter weights anymore. If you still had the shafts in and the gear wasn't lined up, then you'd have problems, maybe the shaft hitting the crank.

The whole reason for having balance shafts is to reduce/cancel out vibrations but you'll be used to not having them pretty quick.

Yep, the balance shaft timing gear is no longer a concern.
