It is very possible that it is a coil going bad or the cam position sensor...

I had a similar issue. Same symptoms. It was a bad injector.

The tuner said it could very well be the fuel system cleaner messing with the tune and that I should get this tank out abd fill it with fresh e85 before I start replacing anything to see if that fixes it

Yeah that stuff you put in the tank does more harm then it's worth, never use it again.

Not known if that is what's causing your problem but that crap can assist the gunk build up.

Well I ran that whole tank of e85 out last night and put in some fresh e85 so today we will see if it starts running normal.

Do not want to jack your thread, but I'm having the same problem. Have you figured anything out yet? I only have the problem on the freeway and mine throws a code. Egr insufficient, over-boost and random/multiple misfire. Please post if you've fixed your issue.

EGR insufficient means theres a vac hose that came off on the EGR stuff.

Misfires are most likely due to spark plugs, so check them/change them.

seems like it was just too much injector cleaner in that tank of e85, been problem free now for the last couple weeks
