Fuel surge tank return to fuel tank

I've tried searching, but haven't found an answer.

I'm curious how people are using a -6 as a return from a fuel surge tank back to the stock fuel tank. I know that the stock return is really small ( I think its 1/4" hose). Can you guys please tell me how you are doing it. Do you just modify the housing and use some sort of bulkhead fitting?

Also, what size drill bit would I use on the siphon when running two bosch 044s?

My setup will consist of :
dual intank Aeromotive 340s > 3/8" Jegs inline fuel filter > 3/8" hose to surge tank > -6 two Bosch 044 > Magnafuel Y-block (two -6 into a -8) > -8 to Aermotive fuel rail >
-6 to Aeromotive FPR > -6 to fuel surge tank > ***This is where i want to know how people are running -6 as a return to the fuel tank***

I would prefer to run a -6 rather then the stock size.

Thanks guys!

-Jesse

on the feed you can use this. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640863/

on the small return, you are going to have to grind it off flush top and bottom and use this with a -6 to hose barb to hook it to the venturi hose on the inside. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRA-483306-BL/

use these to hook up the bulkhead to the venturi hose.

TYVM! Assuming you've got a similar setup, what size drill bit did you use on your siphon?

i didnt drill mine yet or toss all my parts in. an older thread said 9/64" though. here is my assembly with the bulkhead fitting and the efi adapter. you basically bust out the small return fitting and drill it to about 9/16" to get the fitting in.

btw, dual in tank 340's feeding the surge tank is insane. even 1 is dramatic overkill. the in tank pump basically free flows into the surge tank and i would bet that the stock fuel pump can keep it filled with no issue at 800+hp. no way i would run dual, all it will do is heat the fuel up even more.
