shifting issues after clutch install

did a clutch/flywheel/clutch restrictor delete/ss clutch line job and noticed the shifter is not right. wiggling the shifter side-to-side in neutral, the shifter is harder to move and sticking. it doesnt snap back to the middle. this is making it hard to shift in 3rd. it lost that direct shift and now i have to carefully guide it into 3rd. i wont be able to dive in and check it out until next weekend. i am assuming its the linkage (upgraded the bushings awhile ago) but what could i have done wrong when putting it back together?

Check your shifter levers that are located in the top of the transmission sometime they get bent during the tranny install/ removal that probably gonna be your problem!

also check that the cables are not crossed, and the bushings are in good shape. something might have been pinched when putting back on.
