12.0:1 AFR's is safe, no long term problems if you have decent gas in the car.
AFC settings with the flash really aren't needed. Providing settings with the AFC to instantly go with the flash would kind of mean we didn't have the flash close. That's not the case. The AFC will only be needed if you want to run a little leaner or maybe a different combination.
Yes, we usually dyno in FWD. The RWD is no different, it transfers weight better and lets the tires hook up on the dyno.
Noize, the car that made 821 hp was NOT a RWD race only car. It was actually an AWD Talon that was dyno'd in RWD instead of in FWD. Dyno'ing a FWD car with big HP just spins the tires, by converting the car to RWD for dyno'ing the car plants the tires on the rollers harder so it doesn't spin as much.

To have a little safety net for fuel and individual car variances, cold weather, customers at altitude, etc, I'd suspect. The SAFC is fine tunable by the end user, and he/she can make corrections for these things, particularly if they run a WBO2. Plus, power is being made up in the midrange; area under the curve is better.

Cream,
The reflash was tuned for our parts combination only. I am not so stuck on our designs to think that we make parts so good that anyone else's won't work our flash. BUT I cannot gaurantee that it is going to be optimal. I believe as long as the same modifications are done they should be fairly close as far as tuning. I don't think the maximum HP will be there though. When doing the reflash the AFC is not needed.
dperfect,
Yes, we are going to offer the flash with the turbo upgrade. As a matter of fact we are doing the pump gas flash for stage 4 right now and as soon as that is done we are bolting on our turbo kit and we are going to work on that flash.
The SAFC may not be offered as a "stand alone" product for the turbo kit. It may work fine but at this time I think we are going to use the flash in conjunction with the SAFC for the turbo kit.
Having a seperate race gas map is not possible with the flash. The way around it is get the race gas map and keep the boost low. The other way is to get the pump gas map and when you run race gas turn the boost up.
