wtf? feels like Vtec!

hey guys! im having this hesitating kinda vtec feeling problem, hopfully someone can help me figure this out.
when at about 4k rpm at WOT at full boost the rpms seem to jump from 4k to about 5k rpm. almost like the clutch is slipping or like the rpms do a quick surge kinda of thing. when at 2k rpm in 3rd gear and it punch it, once i about hit full boost it just up 1000 rpm and feels like my car gets quicker. its really annoying but doesnt seem like its dangerous to the car.
my friend thinks its boost creep?
its not a slipping clutch because it doesnt do it when i shift gears at all. if i punch it at 4k rpm and keep the throttle wide open and it does that vtec feeling problem, i wont do it again at all as i shift at redline through the rpms.

i was on the highway in 4th gear at 4k rpm and laided in the gas(wot) it will almost feel like it hesitates and jumps up 1000 rpm or so, then when i slow down ( not leaving 4th gear) and i punch it again it will continue to do ths same thing just like before.

my air fuel ratio guage at WOT will go from about 11 - 11.5 down towards 10.

idk what it is.
also i have a broken bolt in the turbo when the manifold meets it. it wasnt really leaking any exhaust there before, and has been running perfect this whole time, idk if an exhaust leak there will cuase this issue or not??

thanks for the help.

I've never had a clutch slip on me, not even the 240sx I owned for 3 years. So I'm not too sure if that is it or not

i bought the car 6 months ago with a 3in downpipe, testpipe, cat-back exhaust, it has a cheap spectra filter, a manuel boost controller set at 20lbs, and a megan racing manifold.
the old owner also sort of tuned it himself, so he says?

i've recently installed a MAP long runner manifold, GFB deceptor BOV, and a DW300 fuel pump. i also raised the boost up to 22lbs today. no tune

but again, the car has ran fine up until the past 2 or 3 days.
the fuel pump was the last mod ive done and that was about a week or so ago.
im not entirly sure when it started, im pretty sure it was within the past couple of days.

** what are the symptoms of boost creep?
**what might cause my car to kind of hesitate for a second at WOT??
the hesitation feels like im losing traction for a second and regaining it, or the clutch is slipping(even though there is no shifting involved).
ill try to make a video of it tomarrow and post it up on youtube and post a link to it.

I guess the first question is are your rpm's climbing rapidly during this hesitation or "slipping" because that is the indicator that your clutch is going/gone... boost creep is a condition where you will hit your desired boost and then it will continue to increase as the rpm's increase, this is usually only the case when your car is making more exhaust than your wastegate can dump or divert, thus causing your turbo to keep a spinnin.

You say your FPR (fuel pressure regulator) guage is saying 11/11.5 do you mean your AFR (Air fuel ratio guage?? That would make more sense, as you are just gettin richer = normal

check your rpms first, if they swing up with the hesitation, your buyin a clutch...

Yea my AFR(wideband).
And again I don't believe its the clutch because it DOES NOT surge or hesitate when/after I shift at any rpm.
Its only after I lay in the gas it feels like I hardly have any trackion for a second.
Can a worn clutch cause this??

My boss is saying it could be the clutch. He says it could be glased or somthing.
but he's not entirly sure because it doesn't seem to do it as I shift at redline through a gear or two.

Any ideas?

5th gear @ 60-65mph and punch it. you'll be able to tell if it slips

ill head out and try it demon and maybe ill film it really quick while im at it.
i took my boss out in the car and he thinks its the clutch, or a warped prssure plate.
now that ive been thinking about it this problem started are friday or thursday. it had just finished raining and i noticed it and i was think maybe im losing a bit a traction. but it continues to do it even when its dry out.
and the rpm band that it feels like it slips is around 3.5k-5k. when i got the most torque. maybe this is a symptom of a f**ked clutch??
