It sounds like your spring is too stiff. I hear minor surge prior to bov opening. Do you know what spring you have?

contact tial if you need help with that diagnoses.. tial has great customer service and responds very promptly.

your spring pressure should be based on what your vacuum is at idle.. for a MAF (id assume since you're running the QR version)

its very important that it doesn't leak at all at vacuum on a MAF setup. where as on a SD setup it will not effect it and is ok.. regardless even if it leaks at idle / vacuum it will never leak WOT.. even with the wrong spring.

so if you're seeing say -10 -12 vac on a MAF car you will want the white spring, because it will crack with the black one thats only rated to -11 max and that is something you do not want on MAF.. it will effect the car greatly.. where as on SD it wont.

hope that helps.

Spring for sure, I can load my car up hard and slowly let off the throttle and I never ever ever have any flutter.

Bypass the restricted vacuum hose you are currently hooked up to, go straight to the manifold. You might need a larger I.D. hose, I'm not sure what it is suppose to be.

Wow great post.. I have a white spring. Stock turbo BOV flutters between low RPMs shifts.

This guy nailed it. you can't use the stock BOV vacuum routing with the tial bov. It must be 1/4" ID all the way through, which the stock bov tubing is not.

Spring pressure isnt based off car model its based on your vacuum at idle, as mentioned above. Whatever your vacuum at idle is (check for boost/vac leaks before deciding on a spring) is the spring that you need to get for your car.

I have the 11 lb spring in mine and I don't get flutter like that. Definitely too stiff. And like they said, run the vacuum line straight to the manifold. There is a fitting right beside the throttle body that will work just fine.
