I have a TWM short shifter with bushings and a phantom knob. I am pretty happy with it. The install was easy and they send directions (not that it's a difficult install at all). I would call and see if they have it in stock if you are in a hurry. It took a couple of months to get mine...

I have an Authority short shifter with their included shift knob and I can honestly say that I haven't noticed a difference good or bad. I do like the shift knob though as it is rather large for a ball shaped knob and it isn't small and golf ball sized like the stock metal shift knobs are. The only bad thing is that because it is made of metal, it gets very hot during the summer months and cold during the winter months.

I got the EBay one that I won from Dyno day. Installed it 3 weeks ago, I actually could feel the difference of shifting a lot smoother now.

Heard works is pretty good. Kraka did a review on here with the works and another brand. As the post said above search and you will find.

I purchased the Ebay shifter for cheap. It has two settings, which I did not like either. I drilled a new dimple for the set screw between the two supplied dimples and it is perfect.
