fp black... bb fp red.... bb fp green
ok so i have a non bb fp black right now on my car, but i got some tax money and i am doing a bunch of stuff to the car. gsc s2 cams, full blown double pumper, new clutch. Basically i want some advice as to which set up to go with. My goal is to be right around 550 whp. Which of these 3 turbos should i go with. Should i sell the fp black and egt one of the other 2??? or just stay with the fp black??? remember this is on a stock bottom end and i do not want more than right around 550
There is no point in wasting money to get a different turbo if you already have the Black. Just keep that turbo and depending on the fuel, tune/have it tuned to the numbers you are comfortable with. Unless you are wanting faster spool of course, then go with a Red.

Save yourself the money and buy the STM walbro 400 kit instead of a 500 dollar double pumper.
I see you are already making 520 hp. From reading your post I took into consideration two things.
1.) FP Red and Black can both support 550 hp.
2.) You are on the stock block.
I would go with the turbo that can make the power and be more friendly to the stock block (in this situation). In other words, the turbo that keeps the torque numbers lowest. I assume it would be the FP Black.
However, if you have a specific purpose for your evo or want it to spool quicker then I would have to reconsider.
