Hi guys, first post here.

I have a fully built JDM Starlet 1.3L 4EFTE motor for which I recently put on a TD05HR 16G6 9.8T from an Evo 7 and I'm gonna be hitting the dyno next week as soon as my manifold's done this weekend.

What I would like to know is the maximum boost this can turbo handle RELIABLY in a daily driven situation without sh1tting itself after a few weeks. The motor has;

Wiseco pistons
Scat rods
Power FC
AEM wmi
.....and all other supporting mods.

I'm just concerned as to what limit I can push this turbo to on an everyday basis. I did a search of course but results only yield answers to the Evo 8 and 9 turbos.

Turbo;

Manifold made in my backyard to fit my engine...almost done

If I broke any forum rules pls forgive me and move to the appropriate section, thx.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Nice project! Love EP82s.
I've been spinning mine to 25-26psi and holding that boost flat til redline in 1-4th gears for ~15months without issue.
Have done 5 road race days, plenty of hill climbs and hard street miles without drama.
Turbo has 128k km on it too.

I have friend in Jamaica that made 307whp with 5e engine and evo 3 turbo
I think u can run that turbo at 24 psi daily with no problems

Ran mine at a peak boost of 1.8 Bar at 3.5K RPM tapering down to 1.3 bar at 7K RPM. The turbo will make good boost in the mid range but up top it's a little limited.
