UICP/Synapse DV/tune question(s)
So I'm just wondering if I should get a short route UICP (probably the AMS my buddy has) and a Synapse DV (the little one) before I get tuned. These items would be replacing a Greddy UICP, the one with the extra port/flange for the anti-lag in JDM evos, and a stock 9 bov which isn't crushed. I want to get tuned on 91 and e85 so I would be somewhere around 25psi on 91 and 30 psi on e85, would the 9 bov be able to hold this? What about if I crush it? Anyways, here are my mods that will be installed at the time of the tune. I will also be getting an ACT xtss with the stock flywheel if my Exedy Stage 1 (the one right above stock) can't handle the added torque. What do you think I will make as far as power goes?
Synapse licp
Greddy uicp (should I replace this?)
evo 9 bov (should I replace this?)
AEM intake with a Vibrant filter
Custom 3" o2 dump downpipe - similar to the MAP o2 eliminator downpipe
Megan resonated testpipe
RSR GT2 (not the exmag)
GSC s2 Cams
GSC single beehive valvesprings w/ stock retainers and seats
ARP headstuds
Stock evo 8 10.5 turbo
GM 3-port w/ a Spoolinup PNP harness
FIC 1250cc Bluemax injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump + install kit

Your clutch will be able to handle the torque, even the stock clutch can hold 400tq no problem. I wouldn't bother changing the uicp and the stock dv except when switching to speed density. As for power numbers, I would say like 330whp on 91 and 385whp on e85 on a dynojet.

I'm not sure about when it would slip, I have 53k miles on my stock clutch (mostly city driving) and have launched on 93 and e85 many times and learned to drive manual on it and it still is holding up. So my guess is that it is driver dependent, such as highway miles or how much you ride the clutch on take offs

a lot of ppl are running 25psi on a 9 bov, including me. some even hold up to 30 if it's crushed. Mine, however, is fluttering (most of the time) at around 20 psi before and after it was crushed.. so idk. I think all the 9 bovs are different.
