Wild question....is there any way that Shiv can send Stikilr a tuned mad (obviously without dyno time & tuning) specific for his car and mods? Then when he goes to see Al at Pruven, have AL do a base flash for his mods and car without dyno time and tuning...this way it's equal against each other!!! Downloaded map specific for his XEDE on his car and mods....vs....Dynoflash reflash specific for his car and mods!!! That way we can see what XEDE and Dynoflash will do against each other without specific tuning? This is the "fight" everyone has been waiting for...I personally want to see this as a fair match. After it is all said and done definately post ALLLLLLL of the dyno runs you make and explain what each one was!!!

Really really REALLY looking forward to this!!!

AL....

Shiv....

Could you two do this so it's a total fair comparison to begin with for baseline results???

unless shiv has tuned a car like the one that's identical to stikil'r, he will otherwise be pulling data out of his ***. As eric l. said, follow the recommended tuning route or have it dyno tuned for your set up. Stikilr is having his set up tuned to his car, via al. Yes, it will most likely make more power, because its tuned for stikilrs car.

It's an unfair comparison. It's like me taking..........hell its no wonder there are so many people ****ing things up left & right when they simply dont follow directions from people that do have experience.

People , people........the most Shiv could tune me woudl be to about 300hp on 93 octane MAP, right now im peaking at 22 psi and tapering to 19 at redline...thats not conservative like Shiv said, my car rolls, i just think with about an hour with Al, we will surpass that 300 mark, its just as about as fair as a match as you can get, or at least the closest one yet. Its gonna be fun, and i think im gonna be happy that ILL FINNALY HAVE A CAR I CAN ENJOY, everytime i step into it!!!!

I totally agree with you, that's why i said baseline vs. baseline. This way we would know for sure that a baseline XEDE or Dynoflash unit would be better then the other....THEN tune his car, this way we would see what the tuning benifit is for the flash. Much like Eric L's sheet shows, he got almost 20whp just by the tuning of his XEDE.

All we want is a base line vs. baseline PRIOR to tuning by either person on the same car, back to back with PROPER cool down and exact same mods.

Know what I am saying???

Wild question....why are you getting rid of the XEDE unit? are you not happy with it or is it because Shiv is not local for you and no one can tune your car with the XEDE?

Maybe this says it better.I think what dragon is getting at is to have shiv send him like a tune thats as close to possible with his mods with no dyno time, then have AL flash on one of his through the mail flash first and do a pull and see what happens. Then AL can work his magic. This way we could just compare the first 2 runs.

You can't go wrong with either product. 282whp is pretty impressive in my book for an "untuned" map.

There are pros and cons to each product, you need to do some research and decide what is best for you.

FWIW, I made 265whp and 285 ft-lbs on a Dynoflash mail in. My mod's are a turbo back and boost controller. OE airbox, filter and everything else.

I am sure Al could extract some more power on a dyno, just as Shiv could with his product.

You said you were only seeing 17psi a couple days ago on our forum

Oh well, have a good dyno day. I'm sure you'll be happy with the custom tune. With the test pipe in, you shouldn't have any problem making well over 320whp.

All of a sudden the weather got real real cold......then my boost only hit 17?????? dropped to 15????? who know, you said something likw its because of tunning in Cali or something, the reason im doing Dynoflash is because i think it gonna change my whole life as in terms of driving and driving fast, i have a close tunner, he loves to help people, allways answers, and gives a no questions asked money back guarantee, ALSO,,,,,its my last modd to the car power wise, im doing rims tires tint, suspension, and all the dress up goodies, 300 plus whp is good enough for me!!!!

Its funny. Al and Shiv are being civil to one another, but this guy is showing his ***.

Why not relax and provide technical information only, Stikilr? Acting like a blowhard just stirs the pot and pisses people off. This forum would benefit if you'd turn off the drama in this thread.

Even if you make 330whp, I'd still like a flash (Xfash or Dynoflash) WITH an xede. Complete controllability by the end user is what I'm wanting. This isn't a real "comparison" between Vishnu and Dynoflash in anyone's mind but your own. Too many skewed variables.
