buschur race core IC
So I'm doing a bunch of small things, like shifter bushings motor mounts etc... The only thing that effects the performance directly would be the bigger IC. I'm going from the stock IX IC to the buschur race core, and was wondering if ill need a tune for just the Ic. I am going to get a tune next week because my tuner is out of town(I'm adding injectors next week). So i was just curious if i have to drive without boost till then?
You do not need to re-tune for the FMIC. There will be no downside to adding the FMIC without a tune, the car won't run poorly. The car does need to be tuned again to get the full benefits of a good front mount though. You tuner should be able to squeeze quite a bit more power out of the car with the additional timing, boost and tad bit leaner AFR's he can run with a much colder intake air charge.
