OILPAN! on my evo 4!!

Hi guys,

I have a small pin hole in my oilpan which is sweating oil, I JB welded it for the time being until I can get it fixed or replaced, does anyone know if the oilpans from 4-9 work within eachother or have the styles of pans changed as well? if so please let me know asap! I might need to get it welded or even tapped or modified

PS the pin hole is right next to the drain plug hole as well making it even harder to fix.

Minimal solutions left!

i had the same issue on my 4, that jb weld wont cut it for very long, i just ended up buying an evo 8 block, but for guys like us that have no clue about the 4's which are really the bastard son. Google, Ian Cuddy motor sports OR Camskill UK , email the guys there and they will give you all the advice you need or you can try lancerregister. hope it helps, once you can locate/learn the code for the pan im sure you can just Google it or check it on mitsubishiparts.com or jnztuning to double check.

lemme know if it is, theres alot of information out there regarding the 4 but its scattered and trying to retrofit it with older model hardware is a real challenge. Good luck

if i was you i would replace the oil pan with oem for the model, you start which pans to different years it can make it worse, it sucks but thats the right thing to do.
